2007 Limited Edition Star Wars Lego Gold C-3P0 This auction is for one limited edition gold C-3PO that was won in a competition from both Toys “r” Us and Lego Club/Lego Australia. There were several conditions just to enter: To gain an entry for you had to spend over $100 on Lego. Then each entrant had to write why in 25 words or less C-3PO was “gold”. Winners were not drawn at random, but judged on there entry. There were only 100 of these gold C-3PO’s up for grabs. In 2007 Lego released the “these are the droids your looking for” and randomly inserted 10000 Gold C-3PO’s into Lego packs in the US. I am not sure if these are included in the 10000 released. You will receive the original envelope that was sent from lego (It contains Lego club members number and stamp from LEGO Australia). Stamped on the back of this in the “from” box is: LEGO Club Australia PO Box 5000 Lane Cove 2066 You will also receive the letter that was sent from “Max” (the lego club mascot). This letter has the LEGO and LEGO club logo as the letterhead and reads: CONGRATULATIONS! You have WON one of 100 Special Edition Metallic Gold C-3PO mini figures! We Received a great number of entries with many clever responses to our competition question why C-3PO is “Gold”. Yours of course was one of our favourites, so please enjoy this special, exclusive prize!.......... You also receive the figure itself, still sealed on the card that it came on. It is almost like a shrink wrap plastic with a small breathe hole on the front (to avoid the trapezium effect (humidity)). It has writings in it: Limited Edition Lego C-3PO!
